Plaque Mounting: Mounting & Laminating Your Posters, Prints, Photos, Or Artworks

Plaque Mounting, also known as Plak mounting, is an inexpensive yet extremely durable way to protect and hang your poster, print, photo, or artwork. The print is dry-mounted onto a sturdy, custom piece of high density pressed wood, then permanently sealed with a clear vinyl matte UV-blocking laminate. The edges of the plaque are then bevelled and coloured. A slot in the back allows for easy hanging on the wall.

With plaque mounting, no framing is required, and there is no glass to break or to produce a glare. The end result is a very durable, eye-catching, easy to clean display solution. Your print will be protected against moisture, UV light, smudges and scratches. The 3/8" wood fibre backing is lightweight, yet durable—perfect for mobile display panels, or prints displayed in high-activity areas.
